Network adapter
During copying from host to VM Virtual Machine an alert comes out and says: cannot copy base: the path is too deep.
OK, possible causes:
- some of your filneames exceed allowed length,
- the nesting depth of folders is too deep,
- the TCP window size becames too big. You will notice, that your copying begins well, but after few seconds it stops.
For the firsth dvo causes you know the solution.
The remedy for thirt cause is in setting of your NIC – ethernet card. You have to disable Large Send Offload
Under Windows XP
Go to network connections -> Right click Local area connection -> Properties -> Configure -> Under tab Advanced, choose Large Send Offload and disable it.
